We have had numerous queries already on ‘payment holidays’ for medical aid and insurance. Unfortunately as things stand at the moment if your medical aid is not paid your medical aid will be suspended until such time as you catch up the payment, (which is highly unadvisable as now you might need it more than ever). Should you not pay your life or short term insurance you may not be able to claim should the unthinkable happen. So as far as possible please keep these accounts up to date.
You can however apply for payment holidays on retirement annuities and savings. Should you be unable to cover the payment on life insurance, retirement annuity and or investments please feel free to contact us so that we can see how we can further advise. Please note the we are aware that you can apply for payment holidays for loans and vehicle finance at the relevant institutions should you need that assistance to alleviate financial pressure.
Please also note that debit orders are mostly already loaded for March month end so this month should remain as normal but at the end of April the financial impact will be felt.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AT THIS STAGE WE ARE UNSURE IF ANY INSURANCE COMPANY WILL ACCOMMODATE NON PAYMENTS OR SHORT PAYMENTS OF PREMIUMS. AS SOON AS WE GET CLARITY WE WILL INFORM YOU, OUR VALUED CLIENT.
With warm Regards, Care Line Group Team
